ImageProfilTwitterNext month we will be joining hundreds of other museums and galleries across Europe to take part in Twitter’s #MuseumWeek (Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th March). 7 days, 7 themes and 7 hashtags will bring The Black Watch Castle and Museum to life! Get ready to tweet like you’ve never tweeted before and show us your favourite memories!


Monday 23rd March is #Secrets – find out the hidden aspects of the museum and castle and go behind the scenes and explore what’s in our stores!


On Tuesday 24th March show us your purchases from our fabulous gift shop with #Souvenirs. We want to see everything from Black Watch postcards you’ve received to your favourite cashmere socks.


Explore the history of Balhousie Castle and the recent extension with #Architecture.


On Thursday 26th March show us how The Black Watch inspires you and what reminds you of the museum with #Inspiration.


Explore the different possibilities that make a visit to the museum an experience to remember with #Family. Share your favourite part of your visit, be it the guided tour, workshops or educational presentations.


Show us what you like best at The Black Watch Castle and Museum with #Fav. Share your favourite exhibit, room or objects with us in the form of a photo, video or Vine! We can’t wait to see what you choose.


On Sunday 29th March we ask you to strike a pose and do your performance art with the museum as your setting. We would love to see your different poses, memes and selfies! Share your best snaps with us on Twitter with #Pose.
